I have so much studying and reading to do, and finals are next week. I have to finish two papers, and I'm losing my mind. I have tomorrow free so I'm planning on getting that out of the way so I can make way for work and creative pursuits this summer.

I still am working on some pieces, I may finally break down and just scan one of my sketches that I really like tomorrow. I go back and forth with posting some of my prose here, so few people actually read prose on DevArt. I know I come here looking for visual art and not writing so I understand and I post my prose primarily on a writing exclusive site.

I would love to do a series of illustrations. I'm not so good with sequential art, though I've tried before, I love the idea of pictures telling stories rather than just words. Words and pictures work great together and I like them both. Ideally comics would be the best forum for my stories, as my novel executions are always just so so, though the ideas are usuall pretty decent. I hope to get better as time wears on.

In the meantime, I will continue to experiment with slightly simplified yet highly expressive styles. I want something like...Craig McCracken meets Queen of Dorks meets JustFlyAKite meets the Level 5 art team. I'll play around and find what I want.

If only I could be satisfied with what I color...
